SRT6 shopping
I have a 2004 NA six speed (36K) and started thinking about a low mileage SRT6. (I just missed out on a mint GT500 Shelby that someone literally gave away because I hesitated a day thinking about how I would get it back home - 2009, 7K for 24K, stock full loaded with no accidents and not even a scratch).
I started checking and reviewing used SRT6s and found some with very low mileage and reasonable prices. Every one however had automatics ----- over the life of the SRT6 production did Chrysler never release a manual SRT6 version? That's hard to believe but I find no old records showing any reference to it even in the last year of production.

Well that was a downer..and a wasted night trying to locate one in all the online sales...Half the fun of driving the Xfire comes from speed shifting the gears just before the rev limiter cuts out. I can't see myself going from a manual to an auto in this car and I'm no longer into swapping out trannys. I'll have to keep looking for something.
