Well, I don't have many options left with the stiff springs. For 2 years I've been slower at the track with the stiff springs. I love the G/C system but I'm beginning to rethink the spring rates.
Hey Les, all I want is to lower the front and the rear about an inch. A doubt I ever have time to solo the roadster, and coupe is strictly going straight. Just like to bring them down a bit. I thought about trimming the springs or having some made from one of my truck parts suppliers.

That was exactly what i wanted too
the car is now lower and will be a little more so soon.
it is more comfortable and handles better too i think
i am very happy with it .

Reason: spelen
I'm going to hop in here and see if anyone has any thoughts.
So I've had eibach lowering springs and 5mm pads in for the last few months and I've been loving the look and feel. I thought it was time for an upgrade so I ordered the ground control kit and couldn't wait to get it in.
The front is sitting pretty good, could be a hair lower. But the rear, is sitting awfully high. I know everyone set it sits low with the kit but I'm not really seeing it. The front sits where my springs were and the rear is almost stock hight. Any ideas ? Both were adjusted to be at the lowest setting. I must be missing something here. I'll attach some pictures to show.
And please ignore the muddy mess. Went to a concert last night and parked in the field in the rain.
Thanks in advance guys.
I believe the rear on yours is so high because of the length of the springs. I recently ordered this kit myself, and i think since we have stock shocks they sent us the 700.225.700 spring. someone correct me if they know any different. I also haven't seen anyone with the 700 springs most people on here has the 600 and below. I will post some pics of mine as well when i get them installed to compare them to yours. I forgot to mention that i was also told that the rear swaybar endlinks could be causing the car not to go lower in the rear as well.
Here is my srt after getting the GC springs reset , konis shocks increased a little past halfway, and an alignment. I cannot go really low cos of the roads,Anyways im really impressed with how it handles, and looks now too. Plus it is Comfortable
The red coupe has the standard springs with bilstein shocks , ride is slighty firmer than my srt and it of course sits higher.

I will post some pics this evening to make sure I got everything correct but as far as I know I did
So this is how my car sits now, I was hoping the back would go lower but it's adjusted all the way down and the front is adjusted all the way up. It kind of looks funny honestly but I may contact ground control and see if I can maybe swap out the rear springs or something. But anyway just as an average aggressive driver the ground control kit seems to handle very well and seems a little more comfortable than the stock springs.
The installation looks correct. You see that rubber isolator in the front up top? Mine has a soft one up top and a rock hard one down low. Did your kit arrive with just one?
I'm beginning to believe that there's a lot of variation car to car as mine is way lower all the way around with G/C's and K&W's. I've made my own spacers to raise my car and it's still too low. I'll take some photos later in the day to illustrate. Right now I have the K&W's on my car and the G/C on my desk …… along with a chain to hang myself out of frustration with both.
that much variation in the cars ? , it must be the springs or the install surely ?
Lucky me i got the GC touring kit with koni sports from Needswings and gave it to my mechanic to install. Its great.
if it were me id be calling Donovan at Groundcontrol .
somethins wrong
I believe so …. now. Here's a couple of pictures of my former set ups that were too low. You can see my home made 15mm spacer with the Eibach spring. The Hyperco spring has a custom spring perch and home made upper spacer. I don't have a 2.5" coil spring compressor or I could have mixed and matched to get my ride height where I needed it. For driving around on street tires it was OK. For racing using Hoosiers it was too low. Fotos? Why not.

Yeah I'm missing the rubber piece for the front my kit only came with one. And yeah my front is adjusted all the way up and is still to low for the roads around here. And I agree this has been a very frustrating process from the beginning.

Did you ever figure this out?
I bought a car with the kit on it...and I'd like to bring the front up just a little. However, it's maxed out.
