Bet it left the driver a little hot under the collar.

That SRT6 was owned by a former forum member "85fincher", which he sold at some point. I guess the new owner got a "hot car"......

Wonder if the diff survived. I'd like to have a 3.07.

You really don't want a 3.07 over your 3.27 padgett. And that car reminds me of what happened to Jane Bridges' car.

I will sell you one once we figure out how to change the TCU to accept a higher gearing. Not perfected yet. At least I haven't had any updates.

From what I understand doc, you need to keep the stock SRT carrier, gears from a Limited, and since you have the Wavetrac you're ahead of the curve. I thought Rudy had this down seeing as how he did Jim's car this way. Or were there problems I wasn't aware of?

No problems I have been running a 327 with the wave-trac in my srt for the last 2 years now. I may up grade to a 350 with a locker,, yes using the srt diff housing
chuk, to change to the 327 all you have to do is get a limited diff ,remove the yoke, replace it with a srt yoke,, get a srt6 tcu,, programed ,, from Rudy,, and that my friend is it . drive it love it. jim

Every year there are fewer and fewer SRT6s. Keeping mine stock (boo hiss) but running it daily all summer. Maybe someday it will be worth as much as a Bricklin. LOL.
