Hi there, the other day I had about half a cup of Lucas injector cleaner spill on to the passenger stock SRT-6 suede seat. I tried to get as much of it out, however a lot soaked into the suede. Is there a recommended way to deep clean the stock suede seats of the spilled injector cleaner fluid that soaked into the seats?

try shaving cream,, i know it sounds crazy but after about 4 to 5 times with rag and a nice brush ,,i hope it works, i,, jim

 

How about dry cleaning fluid? Or, upholstery cleaner, a lot like shaving cream on application but meant to remove stains.

 

I would suggest you pose this question to an auto upholstery shop. You will be very sad if you mess this up.
When owning nice cars like these and the like, knowing a good upholstery shop goes a long way. I have had one near me do some nice little repairs on occasion. Generally, I just ask them for advice and they are happy to give it and sell (or give) me a small amount of their professional cleaning/rejuvenation products. In return, I refer work to them and have on occasion dropped off a bottle of wine or a restaurant gift card ... money well spent in my opinion.

I have a passenger side bottom seat cover for the Srt. I am sure we can come up with something as far as price and shipping. If it comes down to replacement needed

 

Naphtha is a non oily paint thinner that evaporates without a trace. It is a mild solvent and is great for cleaning up lots of things without hurting the piece you are saving. I have cleaned fabrics and carpet spots with it and used my shop vac to pull out the residue. It is flammable, so use good sense and dont try to vacuum up a quart of it. Just use in moderate amounts that can evaporate before soaking the dustbag of your vac.

Any paint department will have VM&P naphtha in quarts or gallons. It's also good for cleaning parts and greasy tools.

 

do not get it on paint, seen it eat automotive paint.
