SRT6 Performance / Repair Shops in TAMPA area
Re: SRT6 Performance / Repair Shops in TAMPA area
Mercedes Complete, 4411 N. Lois Ave., (813) 870-1250 has done excellent work on my cars. I believe they have changed their name to Complete Automotive (Mercedes objected to use of the name when they are not a dealership). They handle a large number of cars of our SLs' vintage. They are quite happy to discuss your car intelligently, offer suggestions, let you know how things work, etc. Their "waiting room" accommodations are sparse at best (one could say nonexistent) - but because they were right in the owner/manager's office, I was far more interested in discussing problems and potential problems with my car than being surrounded in luxury. Brian Arturi was my contact. I have not been there in a while, since I have not had any significant problems with my SL lately, and it's a further drive than I like just for an oil change.
One of our forum members (Funbobby) swears by Mercedes Automotive, 4014 W. South Ave., (813) 875-7143, Anthony Bassolino, owner (Mercedes amy not have pinged them about the name yet). I have not used their services, but I accompanied Bobby when he was having two of his SLs serviced there (his wife's gorgeous red one, and his black AMG). He was thrilled with the quality of the work and the prices. My '05 W220 is due for service, and I believe I will take it there and give them a try (Anthony Bassolino owns a W220, and while his shop's orientation is toward older models, I believe he is competent on the W220 as well). Feel free to send Bobby a PM or an email through the forum, but be aware he travels - there could be a brief delay in response.
