Default Will an SL55 Intercooler be better?... Will it fit?

See below, I was wondering if an SL55 intercooler would fit in place of our's...with some slight modifications (of course). eg: for starters you'd have to cut the discharge pipe off and weld on a new one.
It may not yield much benefit...we'll see.
If this can has been kicked down the road before - let us know.

I had the seller measure some of the key dimensions for me...but....I've left the country (for work) and cant access my spare to do some check measures.

Can someone help with measurements A,B,C and D?

Back in the country now and managed to measure my spare IC
Outcome...the intercooler on the SL55 is the same as the SLK32/SRT6 - no gains here then - I would have thought it slightly longer at least.

I figured it was the same width and depth. Strange the core isn't longer though.
