Default NeedsWings manifold retorque

Question for anyone with NeedsWings manifolds with the cork gaskets, and I noticed the Tork looses up on the bolts and the lockwashers spread.
Wondering if you guys retork periodically or torque wants and leave alone?
Thanks Barry

We retorqued the bolts on Thumper's car a few days after reinstalling them. Only went up one ft-lb though.

Personally, I never liked the cork gaskets and went back to stock, others have done the same.

Same here. The first time in removing the manifolds after installing and running with the cork gaskets for several months, I was appalled by the "squeeze out" of the gaskets to the inboard side. The possibility of the cooked "squeeze out" breaking off and falling in seemed pretty apparent to me. Well, that's my experience w/ them anyway.

Every time I checked them they are loose a tiny bit. the last time I took my intakes off I torqued them once and left them. Where do you guys buy the stock gaskets from? And do you put anything on them like permatex.
I've seen copper spray mentioned but I haven't seen it in the stores here.

I went back to the stock metal gaskets too. No matter how careful I was the O ring gaskets would crush. I tried to make the cork gaskets work but just couldn't for some reason. You can find the copper spray at any auto parts store. Ask, don't look. Permatex is what I used. If the mating surfaces are perfect you won't need the insurance (copper spray) IMO. I used it because I managed to get some scratches in the surface with my one edged razor blade. Oops.
