Hello all,

My crossfire is experiencing two issues.

1. Loss of power around 80mph and occasional hard buck/surge at highway speeds. I believe this is an IC pump issue.

2. I head a loud rattle coming from engine compartment yesterday. I've removed belt and found idler pulley above the water pump is faulty.

Where can I find both a new IC Pump and Idler pulley?

I've searchrd Rockauto but can only find the grooved idler pulley and I need the flat one.

I can't tell you where to find the idler pulley but I would replace that first and then see if you need to replace the IC pump. I'm betting not.

All the parts fixed my issue the car is back to its old self. Thanks everyone for their help.

 

Can you relay what you found to be the root cause...the pulley or the pump???
