I plan on doing the wheels black but there is just not enough days in the weekend.

I'm laughing to myself, I've been waiting over three weeks to get my front repainted, and still waiting, and you achieved your entire vehicle in a week. Nice work!

 

I have been restoring classic cars for 20 years professionally. This is my driver. I would consider this job a quicky. It's nice but if it was for show I would have taken the whole car apart and block sanded it until perfect.
The body is nice and straight but not perfect. I won't win any nation awards with it I it is nicer than it needs to be for a driver.
Don't get me wrong. It's nice. Just not show car nice.
The jambs are staying black.

Started putting some stuff back on.
I'm going to sand and polish it a section at a time. I just don't have the shop time to dedicate to doing it all now. Gotta get back to my customers projects.

I've often thought of painting the top and trunk area black as you have, on my red coupe. Looks great so far! The pictures make it look very similar to Blaze Red?

 

Yes in the pictures it looks very much like blaze red.
The thing with candy paint is you have to see it in person to experience the effect.
Is it worth it? That's a matter of opinion.

 

That looks really cool, cannot wait to see it completed.

 

Going to put the bumpers on tonight. I'll shoot some pics. I'm excited.
