Default RWHP vs. BHP

With my recent purchase of an srt6, I was given the dyno sheet done at Trick Pro in Melbourne,Fla. showing RWHP of 359.8 @6000 and RWTQ at 354.4. My question is what would the BHP be if at all important. Also how does one come by that number?

For an approximate guess divide the number by .75 - .8

OK , I did that and came up with 450 to 480 BHP. WOW ! Seems high , but then again, who am I to complain. Nice bragging numbers!
Thanks.

The only numbers that count are 60', et and mph. The highest dyno numbers do not always correspond to the quickest car.

That's fine, I'm not a tracker so just the fact that it's very quick off the line impresses me. I auto crossed my Viper at Tire Rack in South Bend ,In and that was all I needed for excitement at 65 years old. Maybe I'll do that again with the srt at some Track near
Charleston,Sc.

crank horsepower numbers are nothing to talk about really. I always go by wheel horsepower numbers.

But of course, 1/4 trap speed will tell you if you are car is running right.

I agree, rwhp is what really matters. I'm pleased that m3pig spared nothing making this ride a rocket, so I will just enjoy it.
Thanks for the input.

Yeah, I'm 62 and life changes. Used to go street hunting when I was younger and LSD did not mean limited slip differential. Now passing is the most important thing for me. Dyno's are tuning tools. If you can afford to do before and after with every mod then you know what works but with a forum like this it seems almost every part has been tested by somebody. When my mods are aall done I will do a remote dyno tune and see what difference there is between an email tune and a real time dyno tune.

I'm very proud to own this car, here are the mods Don had installed.
Code 3 pulley
NW dual Cai w\ K&N
Let shorty headers
New Stop Tech brakes
Wave Trac LSD
Eibach lowering kit
Koni adj. Shocks
Dual custom pillarpod with Autometer gages
Beltronic radar
Sirius
Ruff racing wheels 18s all around
All that and a factory cover, nice.

Just for kicks I'm going to add a NW oil catch, but I'm not sure if I need it if I'm not racing.
