IC Pump TEST ?
Is there any way to test the IC Pump other than "seat of the pants" test or taking it off and inspecting the inside and bench test . Mine is less then a year old and car has seemed to lost some punch. Also if the IC Pump is not working would the SC clutch still lock up. (I have added a LED light that shows when the SC is engaged) .I am going to try a Throttle Rest today and see it that helps.
Thanks

Forget it !! I got my old car back and BETTER ! Since I did the Dual CAI I never did the Throttle Rest the PROPER way. Well did it right this time ! Could feel the difference as soon as I pulled out of the garage and the a few WOT passes and WOW .......I'm one happy camper !!!
Simple fix for once
Simple fix for once
1. Get in your car close the door.
2. Turn the key to the on (not start) position, the position just before the starter
turns over.
3. Press the gas pedal to the floor with the key in the "on" position .
4. Hold the pedal to the floor for five seconds, then turn the key back to the "off" position (don't remove the key), then release the gas pedal.
5. Wait 2 mins. for a full alignment. (Some say don't even open the door for 2 mins...)
6. Drive the car as you always do.
