Default Srt 6 decision.

Hi all,

I am thinking of purchases SRT6 from the insurance auction in West Virginia at Buckhannon Branch on Nov 4th.

The VIN is 1C3AN79N05X040174.

It is low in mile which is 12,653 however looking from the photos, both the front wheels are facing opposite direction.

How much would be the appropriate price to get it off the auction?
and how much cost is assumed for the repair?

I was just wondering whether it would be worth investing and rebuilding not for sale purpose.

This is the link: https://www.iaai.com/Vehicles/Vehicl...oadRecent=True

I would really want to grab this one.
Thank you for the kind attention and help.

Only 12,xxx miles, nice
It is the right color.
Both wheels look good from the pics.
Looks like it ran over something.
Great find for a rescue.

Bumper cover.
Drivers fender.
Upper & lower control arms and ball joints.
Tie rods.
Windshield.
Dash or a dash cover.
Possibly sway bar.
Frame looks fine, just pushed the fender back alittle possibly.

Odd the driver side airbag did not deploy when the passenger side did.

What I thought, 2 bad it wasn't the other way around, then dash and windshield would be fine.
Easier to change a steering wheel.

Looks like it spun after impact from the marks on the passenger side rear. Going to need a minimum 1 fog light. Odds are good the mounting tabs for the headlights snapped. Probably needs a new heat exchanger from the look of that front blow. Perfect parts/transplant candidate since it's the worst color....old man blue. I would say try to find a previously repaired car if you want one cheap, otherwise you'll spend a lot of unnecessary $$$.

I bet there is a good bit bent underneath where the control arms mount. It does say the vehicle starts, so that rules out a LOT of electrical issues. Would be great to know if any warning lights are on.

Be nice if someone from west Virginia could take a quick look at it, and maybe take some more pics, and check lights and some more info.

Could just be a broken tie rod.
Or a tie rod and contol arm, brackets could be ok.
And at best $175 - $350 to just get it going, then work on the rest.
I have watched afew srt6 in ALOT better shape sell around $1000 -$1,600 with 40 k to 100 k miles but with only 12 k miles on this one would be worth a rescue.
I am guessing it will sell around $2,000 maybe $2,500
