Info on pulley and DCAI
Info on pulley and DCAI
Posted this on the slk-forum, but should have posted here right away, duh.
I'm thinking of getting the pulley kit and DCAI from Needswings, but including shipping and taxes, it will be north of 2,500, easily.
Is it worth the money and what can I expect to see in added horses and torque? The car has over 100k on it (slk32).

If it is US$ or especially the € I would not bother.
But it is your money not mine.
Why so high? is it import fees?
There must be similar outfits in the EU that do this tuning even if you buy the pulley from the US.
Ask Fubu at this location CLICK, he is the expert on European matters.

Re: Info on pulley and DCAI
There will be gains probably the incrementally best of most mods - but given the OEM package - they are only the start. You will probably want at least a mail tune and a LSD...and then there's cooling....
If you want to go faster its a slippery slope.
If you're worried about the money before you start, maybe consider just enjoying the vehicle for what it is - a very fast OEM. I spent the morning reading about a guy who was modding his Ferrari F40 up from 15 to 38psi...
Or there's always DIY stuff.
