Default Trans Leak

Found a puddle of tranny fluid, looks like the transmission pan gasket is leaking.

If its on the passenger side it is probably that yellow connector leaking because of the failed O-rings.

Thanks onehundred80, I believe you are correct. It looks like is coming from the front passenger corner of the transmission. So I went to the dealer and bought the plastic sleeve thing for $30. Watching the youtube video makes it seem easy enough.

It's not THAT easy, but doable if you go slow and are careful.
If you can get it up on a rack, then it's a lot easier.

Well pulled the car up on ramps and go it done. Took about 1.5 being careful and had a bit of a struggle turning the connector. Got a pair channel locks on it and gently turned it.

Wiped her down and drove around to warm up the tranny and the fluid is just at the tip of the dipstick.

I purchased Shell ATF 134 on Amazon before however now it has gone up in price. Is there a reliable place to purchase the correct transmission fluid? Any local retail stores that carry it?
