Hi all,

I have a tough situation. My hood latch and the latch release line seem to be frozen! I cannot figure out how to access the latch to try and safely pry it open etc. Any suggestions would be much appreciated as I am kinda freaking out

 

The hood can be carefully opened by using an 10 mm ratchet wrench just above the grille and unscrewing the bolts that hold the latch to the hood.

I did a post on it but it was not my bright idea, I have forgot who the smarty pants was. I'll find out if I can and give him the credit.
