Engine noise.
This noise has been developing for a few months. Shops couldn't figure out what it was and said that we just had to wait for it to get worse before they could locate it. It's worse now! I attached a link to it. What do you think it is?
1. supercharger pulley bearing
2. alternator
3. idler bearing(s)
4. belt tensioner puller
5. water pump.
6. power steering pump
7. A/C compressor puller bearing
Take your pick, carefully use a long screwdriver or stethoscope to narrow it down.

That much noise you should feel vibration in the culprit. Could always disconnect the fan belt and see if it goes away (should be OK for a few seconds if will run without supercharger belt).

how many miles on the car?
I bet it is your supercharger bearing.
Remove the serpentine belt and start spinning your pulley's. Start with your blower pulley first and go down. The bad pulley is going to make noise since its not spinning smoothly anymore. I replaced my blower pulley a months ago as it was making some horrible noise and didnt want it to lock up. I was going to just swap out the bearing but I opted to put a 65mm pulley on there since I had to take it off anyway. I also did the needwings pulley saver kit at the same time as well.
Mine went mad at about 150k.

I had/have a similar issue now. Mine was not making that much noise but something did not sound right under the hood. I removed the belt and found out my sc pulley was the culprit. I replaced the bearing and that sound went away just to find out there is another sound. Soon after that the battery indicator came on and determined my alternator is bad. Once I get the new one installed I am hoping the sound goes away. Good luck.
There's about 60k on the car. I've owned it since 25k and only have ever had the tranny plug issue so I'm due for one. Thank you all very much for the feedback and I'm going to get to work on it.
Yes sir. I took off the serpentine, but from there couldn’t replicate the noise or figure out which one it was. I’m about a 75% do it myselfer for jobs because the forum is so helpful. Since I couldn’t locate it, I took it in and it ended up being the small idler pulley. My mechanic who obviously is better than I am, had it out and back together in 20 minutes.
