What is this?
I am cleaning up rust from an apparent leaky battery from previous owner/s. When I removed the battery tray there is a white tubing coming out of a black rubber grommet of sorts from the fire wall . The pic shows the lower left corner. The tubing was not attached and rather brittle. I searched a few sites and to no avail a solution. There is also another tubing towards the center of the engine that also is not attached. Any one have any thoughts?

Took the battery out of the Limited to check my previous statement....and I was very much mistaken. You lost so much tubing to the acid! The link onehundred80 provided shows where the other end of that tubing should be. I suggest you get enough tubing to redo the whole line from firewall to the manifold from the looks of all the cracking.
