Lost Performance
My srt has hit 100k,and for the past few months the car can only muster 12.9@108 or a 13.1@107 ,I use to bust low 12s @113-115.I ordered new o2 sensors an intake manifold gaskets as a start also I had 4 degrees of timing pulled for nitrous.G ot to get my fuel trims checked I think the sl55 pump it too much for a code 3 pulley

1. Get in your car, it doesn't matter if you close the door or not.
2. Turn the key to the on (not start) position.
3. Press the gas pedal to the floor with the key in the "on" position.
4. Hold the pedal to the floor for five seconds, then turn the key back to the "off" position (don't remove the key), then release the gas pedal.
5. Wait 2 minutes for a full alignment.
6. Drive the car as you always do. In short;
Key on, pedal down for 5 sec, key off, pedal up, wait 2 minutes. Keep the key in for the entire thing.
the sl55 fuel pump will not slow you down, it will provide a more consistent fuel pressure which is a good thing. if you have a datalogger on the car please email me a log and i'll take a look.
Holy Moses,removed my intake manifolds gaskets in bad shape but the manifolds are gummed up,can you say intercooler leak,I heard they run 1000$,can this leaky bastard be bypassed
No, you can't bypass it since it's cooling the intake air. Definitely explains your slower times though. You can get an OEM Garrett IC from Rob or an upgraded core model from Rudy. Either option is over $1,000.
got the manifolds superclean and supercharger ports cleaned awaiting new OEM manifold gaskets,going to run windshield washer fluid since my system is separated plus I have a resoirvor that hold 16 ounces.Going to get a new intercooler with the xmas bonus so I think the washer fliud will be ok with a small leak better that coolant coating an gumming stuff up
the blue washer fluid is 30 percent methanol 70 percent water,after replacing the manifold gaskets an cleaning the gummed up manifolds the car appears to have come alive,i will run a few passes thursday nite on street tires no nitrous I should be back around 89-91 mph again in the 1/8 mile
