OBDII and Dash Command
I have recently purchased a cheap OBDII and Downloaded Dash Command. I can not get them to connect even after contacting the software company itself. They have given me detailed instructions on how to change settings and still no avail. I do know the OBDII works, I have connected and it works fine with my other two vehicles. Anyone else had an issue and was able to get it to work?
Does your phone see the OBD device ok ?
the first time you might need a password like 0000 or 1234,
or maybe your cheap obd dongle just doesnt like your crossfire , can your try another dongle ?

Maybe I should have sent this as a PM (but since I'm not)... My teeth are kinda yellowish (he he he he)... Its what I got when I believed the AF recruiters (back in 1972, and every reenlistment past the 16 yr mark) when they said I would have free medical and dental (including my MRS) after retiring from the good ole USAF (minimum 20 yrs honorable service). Found out they just flat out lied to every veteran they ever conned into staying for a career. Maybe that soon will change????? Yeah, yellow teeth (and more than a few missing as well), BUT that hasn't stopped me from living life and making sure both the VA and SS pays, and pays, and pays! My goal, live to 100+, I figure drawing all that pension and SS will be a thorn is all them sons-o-biaches's in congress! Yeah, closed coffin (can only do so much with makeup, right?) and over 100 years! I love it!
