Super Charger Not Working?
Just got a SRT-6 and it appears that the super charger is not working all the time. Is this possible, if so what should I be looking at to remedy the issue? At times it performs as my other one had, then the sound of the engine will change and it has an abundance of power. any info would be greatly appreciated.

If it works at startup and begins to intermittent work once engine get to operating temp then it's for sure IC pump.. contact Rob at Needswings and he will hook you up. It's about a 140 dollar part with everything. Install can be done in 1 hour. Instructions can be found here or on our website SRT6.com
The pump is located behind the front passenger tire splash guard. It has two hoses attached to it, a mounting bracket ring and the power wire. Pretty easy to replace. Takes more time to jack up the car, remove tire and remove splash guard than to actually change the pump.
I had the same problem and changed the pump. Same thing happened Again when the supercharger got hot. There is a good description with pictures illustrating how to wire the pump to cut it on when the ignition is turned on. It works great all the time. I believe there is a heat sensor that is bad, not the pump.
Check out the forum for how to wire the pump on with the ignition. It only takes a short piece of wire and terminal connectors. If it doesn't work, the connections are easily removed.
Good luck.

Just got a new pump in the mail yesterday from Needs Wings.I haven’t installed it yet, but I hope that sensor is inside the pump so at least I won't be wasting my money. thanks for the info!
Nope, the sensor is in the Y piece of the intake, pretty cheap, and easy to change, if it turns out it's not the pump.
If it is the original pump, it will go bad sooner or later anyway.................
