Default Aftermarket intercooler

Anybody still make an aftermarket intercooler (the one under the supercharger )?
Got a loss of coolant, with no apparent leaks...so I guess it's time to replace it, and I don't want to spend $1000+, on another poorly made factory one.

pull off a plenum and zap a picture inside and we can verify

yes we can get the Rudy IC's as needed, they just take much longer than the OEM ones and the delays can get exhaustive at times.

Here's a couple of photos inside the plenum. All I saw was a dribble of oil. Do these look ok as far as leaking intercooler go?

Those do not appear to have signs of an intercooler leak; but Rob is definitely more the authority here. Do you have your engine coolant system isolated from the intercooler system? How long does it take to be noticeably low?

I currently don't have them separated, but I'm thinking I may buy Robs kit anyway, as that's a definitive way to tell. It takes about 150 miles from full, to just being able to see the ribs in the expansion tank.
I originally suspected the water pump, but it appears bone dry. I also think someone has had the interior appart, to maybe replace the heater matrix

Yes, separating the systems is definitely a good idea, and would help the diagnosis. Some of us have chosen to install a small reservoir that you can open up and "See" if the IC water level is dropping and is an easy way to fill and flush when the time comes around. You can see some pic.'s of mine when I did it by going to my profile and clicking on the album "IC spit tank reservoir". Good luck in finding the leak.

Tell tale signs will be heavy green slime from IC to intake manifolds. If it's a total failure, your SRT will let you know, via codes; P0105-MAP & P0507-IAT sensors. Your symptoms may vary, but mine had obvious power/performance loss since both sensors mentioned were enveloped in green slime! Got down to hard start-no power to drive. CEL popped up revealing MAP & IAT sensors. I was aware of slight IC leakage when I installed recent NW manifolds. It wasn't long until complete blowout occurred.

The color of the slime will be the color of your coolant so not neccessarily green.

your IC is not leaking as your manifolds looks clean enough inside

Ok, thanks for the opinions gents............I am going to separate the systems, then look for the leak elsewhere ...............hope it's not a head gasket ..................

Talking Re: Aftermarket intercooler

If your head gasket leaks you OFTEN get bubbles in the expansion tank, but your taking it apart, so look at the plugs to see the color / shades and see if one is STEAM cleaned - different from the rest.

I have cut apart 4 heat exchangers and yours is really clean looking to me.

Thanks.................however I'm not sure what C30 refers to............I thought that was a Volvo............... is there some colloquial usage for C30 for an intercooler ?
I appreciate the offer anyway !
