Default Sprint Booster

Does a sprint booster help response times on an SRT or would it just be a waste of money?

Technically speaking the sprint booster just makes the span of the original pedal happen in a narrower space. Meaning if you pressed the pedal 1 inch, the normal pedal does x. With the booster the 1 inch pedal travel would result in the signal to the TB (literally) as an xx. It doesn't change any of the programs just causes the signal interpreted from the pedal assembly like your pressing the pedal faster/farther. X vs XX means if (example) 1 inch pedal travel is X then XX is equal to pedal travel 2 inches.

I've had my Sprint Booster since June 2006 and never had an negative issue with the performance. The pedal response is immediate, no resetting procedure at all. I didn't want to go through the reset procedure every time I drove the car. Was it worth it, to me it was and continues to be worth the investment in 2019.

At the time I bought mine, they had three different models, the SRT6 (# 451A) and one for the N/A automatic and one for the N/A manual shift model. Some owners complained it was to sensitive, but that's what I was looking for at that time.

Edit: I was unaware of the latest version of the SB, with the various setting, even more of a reason to buy it!

Go for it.....
