Default cylinder number five

I have a misfire reading for cylinder number five. Is that the middle one on the passenger or driver side?

The cylinder numbers are moulded into the valve cover castings.
This is outlined in the Service manual.
Thanks for asking.

Thank you sir, do you know any trick for getting the plug wires to snap in place on the plugs? When I was younger it probably wouldn't have been an issue but my upper body strength isn't what it used to be.

Using a very thin coat of dielectric grease will make it easier to push them on and take them off. You do not want to get any on the terminal inside the spark plug wire, or on the metal tip of the spark plug. A small amount that may rub on the tip of the spark plug while pushing on the boot will not be a problem.

It is probably best to put only a thin layer on the ceramic insulator of the plug.
