COC = Certificat of conformity.

The COC indicates that the car can be sold throughout the EEC because it is up to their safety, health and pollution standards.
I am thinking that the car possibly comes from outside the EEC and has no legal certificate.
What is being asked for is probably illegal, maybe not but why can a legal one not be obtained?

In fact, a lot of website yo obtain the COC are not original.
Also, the french gouvernment makes no effort, the certificat is not needed because on the spanish ID the COC number is full.
But in france, they oblige us to pay a new certificate, why ? no answer for that .. I think it's a crazy thing.
That is why I would like to escape that.

Me thinks ppl should be very careful here. Doesn't matter if others got away with something, if you get caught doing something wrong it is all on those who did a deed, and those who helped.

Seems like something is getting lost in translation here. It’s sounds like it’s registered in Spain and he’s wanting it to be switched over to France? That’s what I’m getting out of this post.
