There are several factors that must be answered before anyone, including a Crossfire SRT6 owner, must take into consideration when selecting new tires:
- The use of the car, summer driving, daily driver, garage queen, etc.
- All season tires or performance tires? The stock tires from the Karmann factory were Michelin PS2 performance tires (latest are the PS4).
- Scroll down to the Wheel/Tire section of this forum and you will see numerous threads about potential tire selection other owners purchased.
Click on the link below and provide the information needed to register your SRT6.
Welcome to the forum!

congrats on the new ride, welcome to the club
get whatever tires you can get locally that have a warranty behind them, stick with factory size so you don't tear up your rear fender

Have tried many but keep coming back to the General G-Max AS 05 (new model might be 07). Quiet, durable and perfect for any occasion I'd say.
Price is really good on those and you won't break the bank like Michelin Pilot Sports. Didn't get more miles out of Michelin or smoother ride, just emptied my wallet faster

For me with either my srt-6 or my V8 that i drag race Yes the best for drag racing are 17" drag radials but
I think i set a record with street tires and no posi rear in my srt-6 12.008@117 1/4 mile
the tire i run on the street in both cars is the kumho PS91 they are very soft and are 275/35-19 rear
the cost of them is $240. to $260. they may last 10,000 miles, just not for me.

I only drive my XFs street/highway. OEM tires were 225 front and 275 rear. When I replaced the last sets, I went to 235 front and 285 rear with NO problem rubbing. The extra width helps protect the rims (a little) from curb rash.
I like the look , had 225 on the front and it lowered the front bumper 1.5"
Stock 255/35 are 26" tall,,,,,,,the 285/35 are 26.9 tall the 275/35 are 26.6,,
and for the front , the stock 225/40 is 25.1 tall,,, 235/35 is 24.5 tall,,,235/40 is 25.4 tall
Yep i have the book, hope this helps. the two pic with R 22 is the crossfire the 22 is the stock et for our stock rims. jim
