spray on car wax, how to apply?
Everytime I've used spray on car wax such as Meguiar's NXT gen spray wax It always seems to streak. I know I rub it in but do I use circular motions or straight up and down or what am I doing wrong?
not a big fan of spray on wax but...
be sure to use the product out of the sun & when the paint surface is cooled down.
also another tip is to remove wax with a quality micro fiber towel... this will remove the wax more easily & aid with a streak-free finish.

I normally use a compound (which is what I prefer) but sometimes I just don't have the time. Work/school/gym/life just get in the way.

Sounds like you need to do a complete detailing and start a new
:
- clay bar
- paint cleaner
- polish
- wax
Then maintain.

I also use the Meguiar's NXT gen spray wax and I spray it on the applicator instead of directly on the car. It always seems like I would get on the glass or mirrors. I also use the microfiber towels too and I hadn't had any problems.
Duragloss aquaxax...I've heard AWESOME reviews on the stuff. I've yet to try it b/c I have yet to find it at Carquest of NAPA auto parts store (Duragloss's website says they sell their products at these chain stores). Try it out!
Go to www.griotsgarage.com and check out their Spray Wax and Speed Shine, its available by the gallon and the way to go to save money.
Never use a circular motion when applying or removing wax by hand, especially if you have a dark colored car.
