Cleaning Dashboard
Meguiar's has its "Natural Shine" which is nice because it doesn't leave the dash BLINDING
but rather back to its natural state. I've just received some 303 today and will test it out soon, its supposed to be one the best interior protectants out there, we shall see.
Make sure you clean the dash first with a quality cleaner before applying any protectant. I suggest Griots Garage interior cleaner, will not harm the finish of anything inside your car, including leather, the best I've ever tried!
I got something that both cleans and protects! Meguire's #40 Vinyl and Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner. I now use it every time I detail an interior on all types of interior plastics and vinyl. I used to use Sonus Leather Cleaner and THEN Sonus Total Eclipse, but this saves time and leaves behind the same result in ONE step, and not two. It has UV protection, which is what the Total Eclipse/any "protectant" is for. Best of all, it is easy to find at a Napa auto parts store or Car Quest. If they don't have it their, order it there! You will save on shipping charges too. My only problem with the Meguire's compared to the Sonus is the smell. It's not pleasant with Meguires.
I find the 303 Aerospace protectant is a little too glossy for me. But I can easily calm down the gloss with a simple wipe down.
