3 things you should use between washes
these were all talked about here before, i finally tried them they all did a great job and recommend them, I posted their web links if interested.
#1 California Car Duster works great especially on black and this time of the year with all the pollen, as long as you have a good waxed car no need to worry about scratches.

#2 No Rinse Wash & Shine no need for a hose just add 2 capfuls of No Rinse™ Wash & Shine to 1-2 gallons of water in the wash bucket. soak a Microfiber Towel in the wash bucket. Wash one car panel at a time then use a Microfiber to dry it off thats it, it leaves a great shine.

Just got my Adams Detailer, on the bottle it doesn't say it can be used in the sun, but on Adams web site it says you can, has anyone used it in direct sun?
If so how did you like it?

Did you buy it on-line, or through one of their dealers?

I have used Adam's (and liked it) plus about 8-10 other products on black, silver, and graphite metallic and IMO one of the best is the Meguire's last touch detail spray. I use it everytime I wash the car, I pick up the big water with my drying cloth, then come back and spray the area and hit it with a microfiber towel. You can also add to wash water to deepen the shine. I have not waxed my car in over 6 months and even with the winter, the paint is smooth and glossy as hell, I love this product.

I have my own system. I collect rainwater in a plastic drum and use it for car wash. leaves no residue. I keep soap, leaves, and bugs out of the water. gary

Since I first started this thread back in 07 I switched to using Adam's exclusively. Great products and every year they either improve on a product or come out with something new and better.

It's a waterless wash product, similar to a mist and wipe quick detailer except that you can use it on a much dirtier car than you would ever consider a simple quick detail spray on. It follows, then, that you also use quite a bit more product in the process. I drove my Crossfire to Las Vegas for SEMA back in November and got rained on all the way back - 275 miles across the Mojave desert in the rain, so my car was pretty dirty when I got home. I needed it clean for work the next day so I used this on it, along with 4 folded microfiber towels to get the job done, and it came out looking fantastic. Leaves a nice, slick polymer finish in the process.
I will admit to being pretty skeptical about this process when our marketing team told me it was being developed. But since it's intro in November I've fallen in love with the stuff and use it all the time.

I parked a brand new car in Sudbury in 1965 and they had a small shower while I was away, a shower of acid rain and it etched all the chrome and paint. The marks were still visible in 1973 when I took it to the wreckers yard.
