How to clean and protect the steering wheel
Hi,
I have a roadster with 8,000 miles.
My problem is how to keep the steering wheel clean ?
My interior is, Dk. Slate Grey/Cool Vanilla Two-Tone Interior
So the steering wheel is vanilla.
I only cleaned my steering 4 or 5 times so far, and I only clean it with a soft rag and water. But I notice that the leather imprint on the wheel is starting to fade away.
Please do you have any suggestions about this matter, and maybe some good products to protect and help the cleaning of the wheel for the future.
Thanks,
Louise

What color interior do you have, if you have the Cool Vanilla interior I would suggest a WheelSkin cover. The finish on the steering wheel should not wear away. I had the same issue and my steering wheel was replaced under warranty, take it back to the dealer.

The interior is two tones; Cream or white, and slate or charcoal.
You mentioned a steering wheel cover, could you be more precise ?
What exactly is it ?
Louise
It is a cover that surrounds the actual steering wheel. Go to the link below.

Yes, the two-tone Wheelskin EuroPerfs are great. Better learn how to sew, though; the installation took me a couple of hours to complete correctly.
Any quality leather cleaner and then conditioner problem should help reduce the level of dirt in the steering wheel, such as those from Sonus, Leather Masters, and Zaino. If you really want to go hardcore, wear gloves as the sweat from your hands, body lotion, sun exposure, and more cause leather parts to get dirty and wear out.
