Default Paint Dings

Ok, I know this must have been discussed before, but I couldn't put my fingers immediately on the thread.

I picked up a rock on the freeway, and the paint is gouged on the hood (see pic).

When I got the car used, there was a gouge in the fuel door (see pic).

Any thoughts on where to go or what to use to fix them?

The last pic was after her bath on a Sunday afternoon. BTW, if you notice the busted driver side fog lamp in the pic, it has been replaced.

You say gouged and I'm assuming that means it chipped the paint? No way I know of on that but the old fashioned way, bodywork, repaint. If it did not break the paint, they are only dents then dentwizards (look in the phonebook or talk to a high end car dealer, they all seem to use them to help prep their used cars) can help you. That is as long as its not on a seam or crease.

Good luck - Pat
