how to properly apply touch-up paint
Hey Ya'll,
I have specs that need to be touched up. I bought the touch-up paint from Chrysler. I just wanted to know if you are supposed to buff it after you apply? I know its still gonna look like touch up but that's all I can do for a few years. Gots to make the car, insurance, and extended warranty payments.
ha!

Looks like a simple piece of acrylic and a fine polish to me... a bit pricey, but I'm going to give it a try. There is a nasty scratch in my passenger side front fender that I found a few months ago. Doesn't go down to metal and there is no dent, so this will be an excellent test for this product.
I'll take photos and document how well it works.
Cheers!

Anyone got a full review? Really want to know... I've been doing it the traditional way and then before it dries completely buffing it the buffer. Which works great but don't want to keep buying pads.
Wish I had a pic to show but KOW no scratches. I have seen pics though and what the Langka product does is it smooths out the touch up paint which usually leaves a bump or a raised area around the blemish. Its by no means gonna make it perfect again but it does help the touch up paint look better.
There were quite a few people that used this product over on the PT Enthusiast web site. You might want to take a look over there and punch in Langka on their search engine. I have some and like I said I've never had to use it.

Just noticed a small chip last night on the trim around the windshield. After close inspection I was not impressed with the finish on this piece, anybody else noticing problems here? Wondering how it's going to hold up over the years.....
