Default Rear Hatch Problem!

I just bought an 05, and noticed that the black bumpers on the rear hatch are scratching the paint. Any suggestions on what to do about them?

I looked high and low for some of the clear tape that is used to protect paint from rubber bumpers. No luck. My mechanic friend Kevin says that the Chrysler dealerships do carry this item, so it does exist. I tried three auto parts stores before I ended up going to OfficeMax and buying some clear plastic laminating film. It's thinner than the factory stuff, but it will provide some buffer between the rubber bumpers and the paint. Perhaps if you go to an auto dealership, their parts department might be able to provide some of the official factory tape.

Someone here found that using the "fuzzy" side of sticky Velcro worked well.

I think I am going to try the tape. Some of the scratches are down to the bare metal, do you suggest applying touch up paint?
