When the Wall Street Journal uses the word " seamlessly" I take notice. Could it be? finally! This is like cold fusion. It must be a miracle! Some guy who did body work told me if your using the glom it on method a piece of broken glass will level the paint in the chip if you pull it across the top. Sounds kind of wacky, and I've never tried it, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

I have always wondered why there has never (at lest that I have seen) been a "paste" paint, much like art paint, made for auto repair.\
This paint is in a tube like toothpaste and dries slowly to give a decent work time. This would allow you two spread with something like a "credit card"- this would fill a chip rather nicely.
Might just have to try one of these kits in the spring.

I know this is an older thread but I just saw it and I have tried the drcolorchip stuff and the rresults were disappointing. It was expensive, forty some dollars, but was not as good as convetional touch up paint and the color match was off. It did come in a lovely wood box but IMO, do not waste your money on this product. I do a good amount of detailing and touch up and so far have not found a really good paint touch up method but I am getting better with practice. I will keep looking and post anything interesting.

The color match has always been perfect.
