It's a bit hard to say since neither of those products was developed with a porous vinyl substrate in mind! But we do see some weird things from time to time so you never know. I just might have try it this weekend!
I used a white (medium) Lake County pad when doing this.
Hope it helps everyone!
Ok, time for my $.02 worth...
I have a Morgan Plus 8 (GunMetal Blue) and the wife has the Crossfire (black). I'm charged with keeping the cars looking good. She's charged with making them look good with her "presence." She does her job well. I've spent years trying various products for show. I've found the best for show is a polish. I've found the best for everyday driving is, drum roll, NXT 2.0--goes on easy and comes off easy.
For me, the secret to the NXT 2.0 is waiting for it to "cure/dry" before trying to take it off. I'm an impatient sort so waiting around is not for me. After I coat her car lightly with NXT 2.0 I move on to detailing the Morgan. The next (NXT?) morning lightly buff off the 2.0 with two microfiber cloths (yellow ones purchased at Costco). Too easy! The car gleams like it is covered in a thin sheet of water.
Oh, did I mention that we periodically take the Morgan on cruises and I then use NXT 2.0 before the trip and Meguiar's Quick Detail while on the trip. ****, but part of the experience with the Morgan is how shiny she looks.
Let me add that I hated the original NXT; hard to put on and hard to take off. I'm sold on NXT 2.0
Yes, I do not work for Meguiar's or have even met Mike. I do, though, watch Car Crazy.

NXT does a nice job covering the light swirls.

Robb3737 thanks for wasting my time with that response. don't you have better ways to spend your time. the real deviation I'm seeing is in your brain.
There is no need to be like that. Mike is really a great member and source of knowledge to all of us. If you take a step back and look; this thread is discussing NXT 2.0 wax and you came into the middle of it and started asking about a rack for your golf clubs???
While I understand that you have a question, a thread on wax has nothing to do with golf clubs. You did thread jack this thread completely in a different direction and that is all Mike was saying.
Mike has a wealth of knowledge as do many many forum members here. You will get a whole lot more constructive advice by not taking offense to someone simply stating the obvious. Not knowing your background maybe you are just new to forums.
If you have a specific question and you use the search tool above and it is not answered then you can always start a new thread
. Please be mindful of others that are certainly here to help all of us...Now back to the thread "NXT 2.0 Wax" discussion...
For what it's worth, stay safe...

mrphotomanGuys,
should I go for mexican food tonight or japanese? I just can not decide.
I certainly don't want to take this any further off track and my apologies to "TheGlot" but thank you mrphotoman you have once again not failed to be both "helpful"
and made me laugh!
Stay safe my friend...

OK you guys have me sold. I bought Meguiar's Clay Kit and NXT 2.0 today. I'm going to give the Crossfire the royal treatment tonight or tomorrow. I guess I'll see how Alabaster an Albaster Roadster can get! Thanks!
Wow, I guess I should have added a couple dozen smilies to my post so Robb3737 would realize I was just kidding. Lighten up man, this is a great forum but it does help to keep some level of continuity to a thread.

Here's a tip or two for using NXT 2.0 for the first time: apply it thin - really thin - and then let it dry for an hour or more. Seriously. It will wipe off effortlessly and the polishing oils will have fully set up. You'll be glad you did.

Well, a 350 mile round trip and the first 50 in an absolute downpour today. The roadster is a mess.
Clay, DA polish and NXT 2.0 tomorrow. Hide until Friday morning.
Oh, my achin' back!
