I have kept my black X super shiny and clean for over 7 months now by cleaning it right. But of course it got F***KED by someone else, My Aunt was bringing my car to me at the airport and decided to take it thru a auto wash then have some tards there dry it with their dirty *** clothes.( she meant well if that helps) Needless to say, now my car has swirl scratched everywhere in it. How can I bring back the old beautiful flawless shine?

 

go to a dealer,,any dealer chev,ford chry, honda any dealer ask for their guy that removes scratches,, he is not an employee he does this for a living, ,,the same thing happened to me this guy charged me 250.00 and he removed every scratch ,swearl, blimish and when he was finished (he did this at my home ) the car looked like it was just painted,, the name of the one here in Ft. Lauderdale is Colers,, hope this helps jim

Jim, you may have had good luck, but taking a car to a dealership for defect correction is like playing Russian roulette, except the gun only has one EMPTY chamber.

As far as I'm concerned, never, never, ever under any circumstances allow a dealership to touch your car. Never. Most of the time the guy who "fixes scratches" at the dealer is an employee - and not a very talented one. They're worse than having a body shop detail your car. Body shops fix damage and spray paint, they don't polish it to perfection. Body shops are production environments and are more concerned with how many cars they get out the door, not bringing the paint to a show car shine. That simply is not their job.

Max's suggestions are spot on (except that part about me being a God, that's just silly - but, ah, thanks anyway!). If you don't want to do this yourself by all means seek out a professional detailer. I highly recommend doing it yourself - it's not as hard as it sounds, the tools and products Max suggested are very easy and very safe to use, and there is great satisfaction in doing this yourself.

 

All i know is that We have plenty of show car quality cars here, but none of the over 3000 we have sold ever looked as good as the one Mike did, and he did a beat-up black car with the softest paint you will ever encounter.

So i disagree with Mike, he is a God, the burning cobra told me so.

For some reason, guys dont always want the best car.

There is this guy that has 17,000 miles on his car, always out in the sun on the track, and just a beat-up dry car. i offered him your services, and he said no i like it this way, it has more character.

Go figure.
