My First Crossfire Wash - What a pleasure
Well it finaly stopped raining here after weeks of rain so I got to clean my 2004 Crossfire, which is my daily drive, that I've had for a month or so (I have been cleaning the rims each week to get rid of the brake dust) - so what you say?
Incidentally we've just come out 3 or 4 years of drought and water restrictions that meant we weren't allowed to wash our cars at home with a hose - only option was to use a bucket.
Well I never thought washing a car could be some much fun
and satisfying - it was great to go over every nook and crany of my new prized possession and confirm it really was in as great condition as I thought.
Only issue I can see is the rims seem to get marked despite being super careful with them on kerbs - would it be possible that being on such low profile tyres they could get marked on rough roads with pot holes? - that's the only thing I can think of for one small "scratch" on the left front rim which I didn't think was there when I bought it.
I was even more pleased when one of the neighbours stopped by and said "wow, love the car - how much are they new?" - sadly I had to tell him that was no longer a possibility - I reckon he's super envious now.....(in a nice way)
and to top it off I put my Karmnann sticker they sent me on my rear window and it looks great - one more left and I'll have to think hard about where that one will go (might hold onto it now it's going to get hard to get them)
I can't belive I am actually looking forward to my next car wash - does the thrill ever wear off?

I'll second Max!
Every Sunday afternoon it's either going to be the SRT or, if my wife asks me nicely (or suggests it strongly or makes me a great dinner or, heck, any darn thing......I'm weak, what can I say!
) the Coupe.
Granted, we don't have any water restrictions in Wisconsin, there's usually plenty of it around. Washing with just a bucket would be an incredible pain in the ****!
Today will be just a wash & some Ultimate Detailer by Meguiars followed by some Rain-X.

I agree. I just washed the wife's xfire. I love washing them in front of the house and watch people look at the car when they drive by.
