Default Car Chalk Removal

Came out from school the other day and some friends had written something on my driver's window in car chalk. Got the actual color off but there is still a clarish residue from where the stuff was written. Any suggestions on how to completely remove this junk? Thanks!

Smokey

Go to your local hardware, Lowes or Home Depot and buy 0000 steel wool. Tear off a piece and use it like an eraser and the marks will come off the window. This can be used on any water spotting on windows as well. After this is completed, blow off any residue from the steel wool and wash the windows affected by the brats that did this dirty deed. Steel wool comes in four different grades 0 00 000 0000, use the 0000, since its the finest grade. Good luck with your clean up job......

Exactly what I was gonna suggest, followed up with some Stoner's Glass Cleaner which I understand is now available at WalMart (and Pep Boys).

After you get this done, I'd recommend ordering some of these bright pink Paintstik hog marking pens and so you can write "thank you" on their window if they ever do it again. FYI, after this I can guarantee they will NEVER do this to you again.

On the farm, we never got mad, we never got even, we got ahead.
