Thanks, but I already called them to get it; I just had to leave prior to posting. You're a good man Charlie Brown.

What he said. I called a few Auto Zones and some others and nobody has it. For those that call, make sure you're very specific that it is an aerosol spray can, one place said they had it, but for some reason I asked her to make sure...it was an additive.

I just picked up 3 cans of CD-2 from the Autozone near me, in Huntley, Ill. That was all they had ....... The store manager looked up what was available from stores within 20 miles, and all of them showed inventory from 2 to 10 cans. Try Autozone..... if they don't have it, they'll get it for you from other stores. (at least that's what I was told)

Corvette Central.com does have it in stock, have two cans coming. None of the parts/auto places in Maryland I have been to have it. ERZER - I did see what you are talking about, its an oil additive, same name.
Is Turtle not making this any more?

Thumbs up Re: Cleaned the Engine Today

CD-2 is still on the Turtlewax com site and available through it's e-commerce store link here:

Any way we could get one of the helpful commercial sponsors to stock this product

I know when I lived in Arizona, the Autozone down in south Scottdale had a kit that consisted of a CD-2 cleaner and detailer. The cleaner was mild, wouldn't take anything heavily oiled or grease-caked, but worked good to remove the dust that would bake onto everything under the hood.

My two cans came today, If you can;t find it Corvette Central or the Turtle wax e commerce store should have it. I'd have tried there but I could not find the site. When I clicked on the CD 2 on the Turtle wax site it just gave a product description to me.

Wow, I got something started with the CD-2. LOL I can't wait to hear some stories after you guys use it. I think you will be surprised at how much better this is than anything else on the market.

So is the cd-2 stuff really that good? Just spray it on and walk away and everything magically looks perfect? No scrubbing or... work?

If that's true I'm going to look here tomorrow!

It is a detailer, so you still need to clean the engine bay first. Just use Simple Green to clean first, then yes........... spray on the CD-2 and walk away.
