Default Adam's foam gun

I just got a new toy for the car wash arsenal - an Adam's foam gun kit.

Kit includes:
(1) Adam's Made In the USA Super Foam Gun
(1) Gallon of Adam's Car Wash Shampoo
(1) Jumbo Wash Pad
(1) Great White Drying Towel

A foam gun (and wash buckets with grit guards) are some of the best ways to protect your clear coat and all the hard work you've put into any detail job. First impressions - The foam gun is basically idiot proof, piece of cake to use.

The car wash shampoo REALLY, REALLY foams up nice. I've used five different car wash soaps in the past and this one is by far the very best. TONS of foam, washes great, you can let it even dry on the paint and it will come of clean - and like all Adams products the SMELL IS FANTASTIC!

The wash pad works great. I'm not sure how it compares to a boars hair brush or a natural sea sponge, since I do not own either, but for the money it seems to work just fine.

I've used green Cobra dying towels exclusively in the past, the Adam's towel works as good as those and is a bit thicker and maybe even a bit softer.

Anyone looking to take their car wash to the "next level" should consider a foam gun. It's almost as much fun as a ten year old with a new super-soaker!

So why do you have a bucket of "soapy" water if you are using the foam gun?

The foam gun provides a pre-soak that loosens dirt and grime so hand-washing is easier. A foam gun gives you a foamy layer of lubrication and reduces the chances of scratches and swirl marks. It's like priming your car wash.

Interesting. They should give the foam guns away since the car wash is going to get used at more than double the amount..........kinda like they do ink-jet printers and then kill you with the cost of ink cartridges.

Mine does foam, wash, rinse really well. I spoiled myself using a pressure washer, and could never go back to a water hose.

Maybe I am off base here, and I know you said it can dry and not leave residue, but I NEVER wash my car in the direct sunlight as a rule of thumb, does this product allow you to do this safely and not worry about streaks?

I still want a water filtration system so I do not have to dry, washing is the easy part

This is not my exact model, but you get the idea...... Drying is pretty easy.... Leaf Blower to blow the water off, and then one quick trip around the car with a towel to get the resudual water drops. The great thing is that it blows the water out of the hard to get to areas.... inside mirrors, gar filler lid, side markers, etc.

I have tried that and I have a 6.5HP blower.

Problem is the water here, it is so full of junk that when you 'blow' it dry, the minerals and sediment in the water dry on the black car = not the best.

I need to clean up the water, not worry about blowing more air at her.

Streaking and car washing... neighbors would have something to say about that!
It dries clean - but I usually pull the car in the garage for drying.

Well that sucks that your water is that bad. I have never had a problem like that with the water here. It does remind me of the time a guy came to the house trying to sell us a whole house water filtration system. He called the filtered water "Fresh Squeezed". I called him a moron and showed him the front door. LOL

I had the same concerns about washing any car in direct sun light, and on a dark colored car as well, but I'm old school, so do you say this wont leave any marks, spots, and such that would be related to washing your car in the sun if it were to dry up ? as compared to when you do this with some other product brand other than adams ? and do you have to use a water filter of some sort ? since different water supplys have different affects when it dries as well.

If it was a Reverse Osmosis System - as they require pressure to "squeeze" the water through the membrane... not sure about the fresh part...

I use my leaf blower to dry my car too and if I'm not real quick I still get water spots. Unfortunately its a fact of life for some of us. I usually try and leave a little water on the car so when I do the final drying with my towel it gets wet and removes what water spots there are. You are very correct though- always try and wash a dark car out of the sun or in the shade or after the sun is out of the sky.
My son had a foam gun he got from auto geeks and while it does make putting the suds on easier it made no difference whatsoever in the amount of waterspots he got. Unless you have a fancy water purification system you are gonna get spots if you wash in the sun.

I think what the OP was referring to was that it is ok to let the foam from the Adams car wash dry on the car during the washing process. You do not want to let water dry. Check out this Adams video where he expalins this.

I have a water softener service so I just hook the hose up to the wash basin. Still have to dry quickly - but much more forgiving.

Watched that part of the video. I wouldn't dispute anything this guy says, great products but........ I have a Graphite Crossfire. Its 5 years+ on the road. It has no swirl marks. I use the same bucket but its a Zaino bucket, Maguiars Gold Car Shampoo. I dry with my leaf blower which by the way does a much quicker job of drying the car and very soft 100% cotton towels to finish the job. Then I go over it with detail spray.
The foam is an interesting concept as is squirting the whole car with detail spray before you dry it. I've never heard of that one before. I think someone before me said it will require a good deal of "product" and that seems right. A jug of Meguiars lasts me months. I am impressed with amount of suds from the Adams wash. I just switched from Zaino to Adams wax products and I'm very happy I made the switch.
