Default Antennas and covers

I just did a quickie wax job with TW ICE on the new Roadster and brought it back in the garage and put the cheapo cover that the PO gave us. It has no place for the antenna so my silly question is, will this light cover hurt the antenna in any way just resting on it. It is parked inside just trying to keep dust off it, we live in the country and the wind howls all the time and now is harvest season so all sorts of crud in the air.

Not sure I am sold on the ICE but it was easy to use and left no residue as advertised. I like the old fashioned waxes when I have time and energy to do it right.

The antenna unscrews pretty easily,, stow in the car and you are good to go. I agree with you about the ease of use with TW Ice, but my two cents is that it doesn't last nearly as long as a traditional wax.

If you put the cover over the antenna the antenna will end up with a curve in it. Most covers tell you to cut a hole for the antenna, but if ours detaches so easily, that is probably a better solution.

Or put a small hole in your cover for the antenna to slide through.
