best wax for my graphite crossfire?
Wax choice can tend to be pretty personal, actually, and it's not the wax that really gives the shine to the paint - it's all the prep work. Do a proper DA buffing process on the car to remove any fine swirl marks, then use a good refining polish and the car will look better than it ever has, and you still haven't waxed it yet!
I have a Graphite Metallic PT Cruiser as my daily driver - it's a 2004 and the paint still looks better than the day I picked it up at the dealer. But given that I work for Meguiar's I'm a bit crazy about how I maintain my vehicles.
Once you get the paint fully corrected, and this paint seems to really love a nice refining polish like Meguiar's M205 (pro line) or Ultimate Polish (consumer line), then a couple thin coats of either NXT Tech Wax 2.0 or our new Ultimate Wax Paste will give you an incredible high gloss, high clarity shine.
