Default Concours detailing: tips from a pro

I was trying to avoid the chore of washing the house windows and was reading the latest version of "Old Cars". Could it be that our Mike-in-orange is the person they quoted throughout the article? Congrats to Mr. Pennington for a superb article. Thanks also for all the help he gives us here on the Forum. I am sure it is greatly appreciated by all.

Mike Pennington is my boss, so he's the one quoted in that article. I did an interview for AOL Autos a week or so ago that should be online any day now. My boss and I are the only two Meguiar's employees "authorized" to talk to the media about product use and technology, so whenever a magazine, newspaper, online entity, radio or TV program, etc wants to do an article about car care they go through one of us. Heck, recently we even went through a day of training on how to deal with the media (this training also included our point men on the business side of things, PR, and Special Events).
