Floormat company WeatherTech just entered the fray with 13 new interior/exterior auto detailing products including one we've all needed for a long time: Leather Conditioner with Aloe Vera .

Be interesting to see how they do in the crowded, but obviously lucrative, auto detail product industry.

 

Love their digital fit custom floor mats, but not sure about detailing products...

I'm sure they're just having one of the larger manufacturers make the stuff for them. The Barrett-Jackson line of car care products is made by Farecla of the UK, for example, but it's not selling well at all and rumor has it that the line is about to die on the vine. But that's just a rumor. Meguiar's actually made a leather cleaner and a leather conditioner with Aloe in it for quite some time, but we've recently discontinued that in favor of a pair of new products that clean better (much better, actually) and moisturize the leather and it's coating without adding any gloss, slippery feeling, etc.

It is crazy how many new lines are popping up these days though, but unless you can get space on a retail shelf in major brick and mortar stores you aren't going to sell a ton of it. But the margins are generally really good so you don't have to sell a ton to do OK.
