When I would pay to have my car detailed. But with the move, new job, just married, all the travel, it just wasn't happening. The xfire was in for some service work and they had a deal on detailing: hand wash, hand wax, wash floor mats, vacuum, glass inside and out, and armorall the tires. $39.99.

All in all, worth maybe $20 bucks. didn't do inside the door wells or trunk (where the water sits), etc. but at least she is waxed now because I hadn't had a chance to put a coat on her.

My garage is almost ready for primetime. I just need to do a little plumbing to get a spigot in there. No drain of course but i think it all should run out.

for that price... i'm sure the wax was a quick use of a liquid wax. don't expect much longevity... but something is better than nothing... when it comes to protection.

hope all is well with your transition.

I guess with your schedule and the convenience it was inviting but like they say "you get what you pay for". I'm sure you'll get around to making the Crossfire look good, too bad you don't live near me but then again, my prices start at $140.00.

Sounds like no "happy ending" with that detailing.
No one does it like you would yourself, it's just a fact of life! ;p

things are slowing down a little bit with the move but flying to philadelphia this weekend for a b-day party. yes it was a quick and easy job for the wash, but like you said andrew, something is better than nothing.

at least it looks good enough that i got a few thumbs up and long stares on the way home from the dealer!
