Contacted Kleeman about their supercharger.
The two available kits:
Low Boost Kit, approx 280 hp 270 tq, $6,500.
High Boost Kit, approx 330 hp 320 tq, $9,500.
Prices provided are without installation (which should not be very difficult at all, except for benz specific tools). And if you are wondering if you can upgrade to the 'High Boost' kit at a later time if you buy the 'Low Boost' kit, yes you can. Difference between the two is the 'High Boost' kit has a intercooler, allowing it t to run higher boost pressures.
i've read reviews on benz boards and most of them agree the Kleeman is the best as far as supercharging these engines goes. I wish i did not have to believe what they say, but these overpriced manufacturers don't offer any information worth squat...
for now, i will enjoy our other car for my speed/cornering hunger... just finished a mopar stage 1 and suspension techniques sway bar on our SRT-4... combined with the 225 width tires on the BBS wheels, dc strut bars, it handles great now... next to come, 300 hp on the stock turbo through turbo porting + ppq piggyback computer tuned by muah
19 psi of boost here we come. :P

They are crazy for asking that price! It is a supercharger and nothing new. They can take their brand name and stick it. I hope that price includes a German hotty that will take care of you after everyone laughs at you for paying that much...

the price is very high compared to domestic supercharger offerings for v8 cars... they seem to have the market cornered however and i really am considering this as a possible route... i have looked at building a turbo system for the car and it is a tight fit to say the least... currently i am measuring out the possibility of a remote mount turbo at the muffler area and will use that as my final deciding factor... i can build a turbo kit for less than 2k as i did on my previous cars or i can just buy a supercharger fro 6.5k and have a already fully engineered solution... that's a hard choice as my time has become much more scarce and valuable in recent years unlike when i built my first kits...
The AMG 55 engine, which I believe is what the SRT6 uses has a higher rating than the 330 hp Chrysler uses. What is the difference between the two? Can ours be brought up to that spec for a reasonable price?

I'm wondering if Chrysler just under rated the car or if they actually detuned it to 330 hp to not step on MB owners toes.
From what I've seen though, the MB's are a little faster in the 1/4 times I've seen people post.
The disadvantage of the Kleeman kit is the price.
The advantage over other options is that it is a well engineered kit that is essentially plug and play. It is a complete solution that takes care of timing and fueling. It delivers power and will maintain reliability.
If you have the time you can probably build your own solution that will as much or more power with the same amount of reliability for around the same price or less.

Yes, I mistyped, our engine is the AMG 32 engine, which at the time was the highest efficiency belt-driven supercharged engine. In reading a bit about it, detuning of the supercharger seems unlikely. The intake/exhaust may not be as good as the AMG or the ECU parameters may have been changed.
