Is it a missing screw or it's made that way?

Yep, same empty hole for some kind of screw. I'll swing by the dealership tomorrow and check it out on a new car (if you can
call a left over '05 new, ha ha ha...)

i wouldn't be surprised if the threaded hole was/is used for something in the SLK32!!!

For now, I used it for my ground wiring with my Hot Inazma Hypervoltage system. I'm lucky some screw in my ratbox fits the hole!
