"It was not originally equipped with the optional super-charger, but we're told it can be easily added".
Maybe the ebay seller could let us know how to do this. ;-)

This was just a really uneducated sales pitch line from the people that posted the ad. I called the person who listed this and the car was totaled from a rear-end collision and crunched all the way up to the cross beam behind the driver. The drive shaft was pushed into the gearbox and snapped off the shift mechanism, so the gearbox is probably scrap now.

Somebody from Arizona purchased all of the front end body parts and the seller is basically left with an engine and a busted-up gearbox. It is sitting in one of those E-bay drop off stores in Colorado.

The seller purchased the wrecked car at an auction. I would usually bid on this engine, but the bell housing was shoved very hard into the engine block which means that certain internal parts are probably bent. You may be able to get a good top side of the engine if you needed it...

I vaguely remember him saying somewhere in the range of high $200... I lost interest halfway through the conversation when he said the rear-ender had caused damage to the gearbox... Which means it probably caused damage to the crank shaft as well...

My gut feeling is that this engine is only good for topside parts...Or pistons, valves, etc.
