I kind of like it. It's not too throaty or tinny. Wonder if it comes with the OEM style tips or that guy had them welded on.

Found the link to the site:
http://translate.google.com/translat...3Dgj8%26sa%3DG

Then hit Ctrl+F type DW and click the link.

Looks to be only the muffler and not the complete catback system.

nah, too raspy, I like the stock sound better, if only it was a bit louder then it would be perfect.

check it out they have cool exhaust tip. I can see why your mufflers are loud, http://www.dw-technik.de/3_herstellung.php, looks like your full flow straight through with some wool baffling.

Any chance you guys can offer an off-road race exhaust, with out catalytic converters. I guess all I would want is a cat forward exhaust.

Hello!

We have no wool inside! the exhaust has 26 pieces inside! It is a lot of work to fix it all on the right place! Dieter Weiß ist a profi on this area! He make a good job!

What is a cat forward exhaust??

Oh my mistake, it's just from the pictures on your site it looked like you build straight through mufflers.

What I mean by cat forward, is to completely remove the catalytic converters, and replace them with smooth straight pipes, all they way up to the exhaust manifold. basically an off-road exhaust.

What would the price range be for your cat-back exhaust? I love the sound of it. I just hope it would not be too expensive. I don't make much money and I couldn't afford it right now at least until tax time or my PPI bonus. I can barely afford the car as it is, let alone buy accessories for it.

Also, I'd think that I could order that exhaust with different style tips, right? I like those tips, but I don't know if I'd put them on my car.

The price range in Euro are 1090, - incl. tax! You can order the exhaust with different style tips! No problem! Dieter Weiß can make what you want!

I can send other 3 videos from the exhaust! Send me an email and I'll mail it to you!

I'm sorry but that's around $1,400+, which is way out of my range, especially when you figure overseas shipping and taxes, etc., but I do not doubt your product -- all I am saying is its too expensive for me.

I still would love sound files though! I'll PM you.

Contact Dieter Weiß! info@dw-technik.de
He can make a special price for your crossfire forum! He give us about 7% !!!

The exhaust systems from other companies are much more expensive! About $1,600 to $1,700!!

The sound videos are on the way to you!

Yeah it's tough right now with the Euro worth more than the dollar plus shipping, $1,400 can buy some real speed parts like a Paxton supercharger.
I think Borla offers a full cat back for $500-$800.

Heck you can get a Borla exhaust and an ECU tune for that amount of money and get 25 hp to the wheels maybe more. I first inquired about it hoping it was only the muffler, not the complete kit since the Borla only gives maybe 5 hp.
(not a noticeable difference).

MatthiasK, I can't get the videos to work. They come up but they won't play. Maybe you could try putting them on You Tube?

that supercharger will probably make a good book end. no one here has successfully supercharged a base crossfire. i hope someone does, this car deserves a better aftermarket.

I don't see why someone couldn't try to put a remote mounted turbo on their car.
