Or you can slowly put all the parts together yourself, and when it's completed have SI finish off the ECU to operate with boost. it shouldn't cost you more than $3,500 as a DIY project.

If you can't pull this off how are you gonna afford to modify that EVO8 your dreaming about. If you want an EVO with 500 hp, it's gonna cost you probably $6-$10,000 in upgrades and mods.

that's the point, why am i going to spend 6 grand on a car that i'm turning in 5 months. besides that, i never said i wanted 500 whp. i'm actually aiming for about 400, which would cost 3-4k. and you could not get a real solid turbo setup for this car for that price, if you did it would be second hand leftover parts. for a good, solid setup with proper fuel modifications also put in, along with the basically required standalone it would cost about 7k at the minimum. manifolds are extremely expensive to have custom made. a rear mount system might be cheaper, but not significantly, probably about 5k. if you do a custom turbo kit without a standalone you are just taking too many shortcuts.

What's the deal with the new evo9. I hear they might become more complicated to tune and upgrade, because of new OBD requirements. What's the deal there?

you're probably thinking of the evo x. the evo 9 has been out for a couple years and is very easy to tune.

Here is another one that sounds very similar. Its a Flowmaster Muffler though with a custom bild tip.

Hello Matthias,

I'm interested in your exhaust system. Possible to quote me with shipping to Singapore (postal 587851)?

Cheers

Eddy
