Question Help with Exhaust modifications

I need everyone's opinion about something. I am looking to change out my exhaust (while still using the stock tips to fill in the space). I am wanting to be sure to do this right and avoid sounding like a ricer. So, in your opinion, which one of these exhaust mods sounds the best. Right now...I am favoring #2, although #1 almost sounds like an exotic while sometimes still sounding like a ricer. This is making it tough for me....

#1 - DW-Techniks

#2 - Owner claims custom with Flowmaster parts

Does anyone know the owner of the white Crossfire in video #2 btw?? I love how deep the car sounds and would be willing to pay to have this same exhaust built if it is truly custom built.

I love how much my car sounds like an exotic still using the stock mufflers. Good luck on your decision.

Yes , Wes used to frequent this forum back in 2003-04. I think he may have moved to the other forum.

The stock exhaust sounds good; unique to the Crossfire which is big points. But I'm afraid I can't agree on the exotic part. Those who have pictures of Ferrari's in their driveways will agree with me on this one. The Crossfire isn't loud enough to categorize it in the exotic arena. The reason for this is the number of cylinders and the number of rev's the engine is capable of. What would be fantastic though, is to get one of these sounding like the new C63 AMG. That car emits an orgasmic soundtrack from their tailpipes!

I guess I've learned my lesson. Unless there is a way to squeeze an extra 2000 rev's from our engines before redlining, I fear any mod to the exhaust will put it sounding dangerously close to ricers. And that just will not do. I suppose if anything, I will try to get the exhaust from an SLK32 AMG.

With the rear cats and resonator removed, peeps are telling me all the time how exotic it sounds. So come on out to the dyno day in Ft Lauderdale next month and listen to our cars screem! By the way I love your Greek forum name. I should change mine to Mytilene, where my family is from.

I have the stock muffler and the rear CATS removed and a HAI and everyone is always asking me what type of muffler I have installed. I have thought about the Magnaflow 16633 because lately I've been hearing a sort of rattle inside the muffler which might be a loose baffle but I do like the sound of the current set up.
